Major rules
Tactical goals:

Striking/ Fielding-Type Games

Tactical Goal
Description
Accurately Hit Ball
To use proper striking mechanics (e.g., “keeping an eye on the ball”, correct grip) to hit the ball into the field of play.
Placement Away from Fielders
To hit the ball over or around the fielding team into open or safe areas.
Covering Space
To work together with the fielding team to cover as much space as possible.
Score Runs
To use tactical solutions such as advancing runners so they are closer to the scoring area or hitting the ball away from the fielding team.
Avoid Getting Out
To use tactical solutions such as quickly running to a safe area (e.g., base) before the fielding team is able to throw to the safe area or tag the runner.
Stop Scoring Runs:
To work together as a defending team to prevent scoring by the offence. Examples include covering as much area as possible and throwing the ball to a team-mate who is able to prevent the runner from scoring.

Cricket
-       11 players per team
-       can score 1, 4, or 6 runs per bat
-       1 run if both batters can get safely to the opposite side, 4 runs if the ball rolls to the outside edge of the playing area, and 6 runs if it clears the outside playing area through the air.
-       batters bat until they are you get them out
-       batters attempt to protect a wicket (3 stumps supporting 2 bails)
-       bowlers attempt to through the ball past the batters and break the wicket – batter is out
-       fielders attempt to catch a hit ball before it hits the ground and also stop the ball from reaching the edge of the field
-       if batters decide to run, a fielder can get the batter out if they break the wicket before both batters have crossed the safe line at the opposite end
-       when one entire teams of batters have gotten out, the other team will bat.
